Course Overview

This all day course primarily covers adult first aid but can be varied to cover child and/or infant first aid or be adapted to specifically cover sports and leisure injuries.

Who is it for?

This course is ideal for anyone who want to learn  first aid with being able to do resuscitation and CPR. S.E. Medical welcomes any one on this course from the age of 12, but anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an responsible adult.

This course does not qualify you as a first aider in the workplace under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

This course covers first aid skills relevant to people of all ages. There is a high practical content to this course, which may include outdoors content. Participants should wear suitable clothing.

All students are continually assessed by the instructor and there are two short multiple choice question papers that need to be completed within the course. Any assessment is carried out in a “low key” manner with the emphasis on teaching rather than assessment.


Minimum of 14 hours. This course can be run in-house for up to 12 delegates or individuals can attend our courses.
